Learn fashion through making — not theory.
What to Expect
Qi Yun Studio offers small-group, hands-on fashion workshops designed for people who want to understand fashion by actually making it — not just watching, scrolling, or theorizing.
Each workshop focuses on process, materials, and construction, guiding participants from concept to physical form within a limited, immersive time frame.
No prior fashion training is required unless specified
❋ What These Workshops Are
These are studio-based learning experiences, not lectures.
You will:
Work directly with fabrics, tools, and garments
Learn through guided making, observation, and correction
Understand why things are constructed the way they are — not just how
The emphasis is on thinking with your hands, a method rooted in atelier training and experiential learning.
“You don’t learn proportion, tension, or balance by looking at images.
You learn them by touching, cutting, and adjusting.”
❋ Who These Workshops Are For
These workshops are designed for:
Complete beginners curious about fashion and garment making
Creatives from other fields (art, architecture, design)
